Friday Lori Cook which is my mom's best friend came into town and had her grand-daughter with here. So the H & H and I went to play at grandma's for the day. The kids played outside between rain storms, dug up red potatoes out of grandma's garden, picked raspberries, painted a foam visor and crown, and played on the swing set all day long. So needless to say Hayden and Hanna were very tired by the time we got home on Friday night.
Saturday I called my mom and asked if Paul and I could come up and help get all of the barn cleaned out before my Dad starts his next bought with Chemo on Tuesday. I knew that that was one thing that my Dad wanted done this summer. So we took everything out and we ended up making two trips to the garbage dump. So we have had a busy but very rewarding weekend. I love being able to be so close to my parents and be able to help them with what they need done around the property.

Very fun times, indeed! Wish I could have been there helping! I love the smell in the barn....and the spider webs and the buzzing sound of flies at the windows trying to get out! How's my memory?
Yes Trev you are right on with your memories. It was so fun to help them out on Saturday with the barn.

This is such a wonderful example of love in action!!! I'm sure no matter how many times your parents hear you love them...this truly expressed it best; showed you are willing to do what is necessary. I'm so proud of you!!
Mandy-the new look of your blog is really sharp. Well done. Maybe someday I might just try this blog thing. Love you and have a happy 4th. We live in a blessed land.
