Happy Days of Pressuring Washing

Well it all started on Saturday with Paul coming home from Scout Camp out on Friday night. We borrowed his dad's pressure washer and we pressure washed all of our patios, driveway and whole house. This is in prep for painting our home this summer. So then I said to Paul "Maybe we should call mom and dad and asked if they would like us to come do their house and driveway and steps." They said that that would be great, so for family night last night we did about 4 hours of pressure washing their steps and driveway pads. Let me tell ya that was a workout. I woke up a little sore this morning. But I love being a help to others and showing my love for others by helping them. I know the that Lord will bless my for doing things not only for my family members but for my friends and even people who I associate with at church and around my community. Your probably looking at this picture and going why this one. This is a driveway that part has been pressure washed and part has not. This is the closest picture I could find to what we did last night. I think that we are suppose to be around 102 to 103 today so I have all of my windows open for just a little longer to try to get some cool maybe some cool air into the house. I think the rest of the week is suppose to be 90's. HOT HOT HOT!!!!! I know our friendly family members in Arizona are probably just shaking heads. But I think you guys decided to share some of your weather with us. We will be fine but that is not heat that we are use to having as I am sure you all know. I think today for a project I think that I am going to attempt to try to make new curtains for Hayden's windows. He has all curtains with flowers still on them from the people that we bought from. I also need to finish painting Hanna's room but you know with two little ones it will not get done unless I have someone else here to watch the kids or if Paul is home. But by the time he gets home I usually is a little to late to start a painting project before she has to go to bed. So that is my next thing to finish. So I have so thoughts I guess on what projects to get done I just need to find time to get them done. Maybe it is a trip to the library today also we shall see.

Great work with the pressure washer!!! I don't discount your high temperatures at all. I also don't know if you have A/C which can make or break a hottie (day that is). Sounds like you'll get some painting done on Saturday and then can put up those cute new curtains you're sewing. Hope we get to see pictures of your handiwork. Loves.
