Disneyland Spring Break Part I

For Spring Break this year we surprised the kids with Disneyland for four days. We left on Sunday the 20th and Papa took us to the airport for us to fly to California to see Paul's Uncle Walt. Well that is what the kids thought we were doing. When we got to the airport it was raining and windy like crazy. We were bummed a little but we have web feet so we put our coats on a ventured out to the shuttle to the hotel. We made it all the way to the hotel with the kids not figuring it out at all. When we got to our room we told them to go look out the window. The view still did not tell them that we were at Disneyland being down on the south side of it they couldn't really see anything. So Paul told him that Uncle Walt's house was right down there, Hayden was still confused he said there is was no house down there, just buildings. We then told them that they were looking at California Adventure and pointed out the mickey Ferris wheel. Then Hayden finally figured it out or "Walt Disney" not Uncle Walt. They were so excited at this moment they could not contend themselves. We then took them for a little walk down the hallway to see there cousins which they had no idea were coming with us. That night we went swimming and in the hot tub in the pouring rain. "True Oregonians". It was fun. The next three days were spent at Disneyland and California Adventure. It was so much fun for us to be able to take our kids and let them experience Disneyland just as we did as kids. It can't believe how much has changed and been added on for more fun. We had a wonderful spring break this year. Enjoy all of our pictures!!!!!
